Merck Opens Global Capability Centre In Bengaluru

Merck has inaugurated its new Global Capability Centre (MGCC) in Electronic City, Bengaluru, strengthening its global digital, technology, and enterprise operations in India. The integrated campus brings together the company's existing technology and shared services teams under one location.

Spread across 17,000 square metres, the state-of-the-art facility will accommodate nearly 3,300 professionals working across data, digital, process, and technology functions. The centre is designed to support Merck's long-term innovation and digital transformation strategy.

The new campus features innovation labs, AI-enabled workspaces, collaborative zones, and inclusive facilities, creating an environment focused on advanced research, digital engineering, and enterprise technology development.

Merck's Bengaluru GCC will support its global businesses across Healthcare, Life Science, and Electronics, helping accelerate product development, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer-focused digital solutions worldwide.

The expansion further reinforces Bengaluru's position as India's leading Global Capability Centre hub, while highlighting Merck's long-term commitment to investing in technology, innovation, and high-skilled talent in the country.
