Automotive Giant Samvardhan Motherson Receives LOI For A New Manufacturing Facility In Jewar – To Invest Rs 1,156 Cr
Automotive components giant Samvardhan Motherson has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) to establish a new manufacturing facility in Sector 8D of YEIDA, near Jewar International Airport, Uttar Pradesh. The company plans to invest ₹1,156 crore in the greenfield project.
The upcoming facility will be developed on nearly 50 acres and is expected to strengthen Motherson's manufacturing capabilities for the automotive sector. The project aligns with Uttar Pradesh's vision of developing the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) region as a major industrial and manufacturing hub.
The investment is projected to create more than 8,000 employment opportunities, providing a significant boost to the local economy while attracting skilled talent and supporting ancillary industries in the region.
Located close to the upcoming Noida International Airport and the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), the new plant will benefit from world-class logistics and infrastructure, improving supply chain efficiency and export potential.
The project further reinforces Jewar's emergence as one of North India's fastest-growing manufacturing and industrial destinations, attracting large-scale investments across the automotive, electronics, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
