HCLTech Secures $1.14 Billion Ai-led Deal
HCLTech has secured one of its largest artificial intelligence-driven contracts in recent years, winning a $1.14 billion (over ₹9,500 crore) deal from an unnamed European Fortune Global 50 company. The five-year agreement will see HCLTech build and manage an AI-powered digital workplace and enterprise network, reinforcing its position as a leading global technology services provider.
The project is designed to help the client transition to an AI-first operating model by modernizing workplace infrastructure, strengthening enterprise connectivity, and improving operational efficiency. HCLTech will leverage its AI platforms, cloud capabilities, automation tools, and cybersecurity expertise to deliver the transformation.
HCLTech selected Madhya Pradesh because of its strong engineering talent, growing technology sector, and world-class industrial infrastructure. The company expects the new facility to enhance its global production capabilities while supporting exports and high-reliability electronics manufacturing.
The investment is expected to support the 'Make in India' initiative by promoting local manufacturing, strengthening domestic supply chains, and encouraging greater participation of Indian companies in the global technology value chain.
With HCLTech's entry, Madhya Pradesh continues to attract global technology investments, reinforcing the state's position as one of India's fastest-growing hubs for advanced manufacturing, aviation, and defence technologies.
